Dear Bloggers,
Please bare with me I just need to vent my frustrations for a brief moment. I know I have complained about this before but it is still going on. Potty Training. Seriously how do you do it. Frankie fully understands the concept he just simply won't do it. We have the peeing down, it was pretty much a breeze compared to pooping. I have reward toys and candy and it is not working. What else have I tried, okay yelling, time out, screaming, talking, taking away his favorites, spanking (not hard he doesn't even care) I throw away his underwear, put him in a diaper. UUGGGGHHHHH! I just can't take cleaning up anymore poop so please give me something that works. Plus I am sick of doing laundry just so he has clean underwear.
Sincerely,
FRUSTRATED

1st of all the Halloween pics are great Kenton LOVES the spiderman, on Halloween everyone w/ the spiderman costume on he TOTALLY thought it was the real one. Anyways the potty stuff. Some kids have a hard time with the pooping and think it is just part of them. Have you done the potty chart? Kenton liked that. Kids all run on different clocks :)
Wish I had some words of wisdom for ya but I got nothin.
I feel terrible telling you this, but when our boys would poop their pants, we gave them a cold shower. It is awful.....but it works for us! Now, if they are trying to get to the toilet and just dont make it, thats a different story. But, when they would poop and just go on with life like nothing happened, cold shower! It only took twice for Drake to get it. A little more for tanner, but he has finally stopped doing it! YEAH!
First off, I loved Kass' comment on how Kenton thought all the spidermans were real!!! hahaha.
Secondly, NO IDEA HOW TO HELP YOU!!! But, I'm pretty sure my sister feels the same way??
good luck chuck!
I dont know what to tell you Marla, I'm sorry! But I do know that my sister-in-law did the cold shower also and it worked for her~ good-luck
Put him back in diapers. Stop talking about, stop getting mad at him for it. Completely ignore the subject and change his diaper happily (I know that sounds impossible) and if he says he wants to go potty in the toilet tell him no because he has a diaper on and you can't go potty in the toilet if you wear diapers. I bet it will only take a few days and he will think he "controls" the situation and start doing it on his own.
By the way I'm not saying this will work but it sounds like you've tried everything else so what do you have to lose (except your sanity) right!?
I wish I could help, Mark just kinda picked up on it, lucky me. Maybe he's not ready. Mark did the same thing the first time I tried to train him. I waited about 4 months and tried again. Sorry.
That's freakin funny, for those who don't know better they will think you have a son haha.
OH I FEEL THE SAME WAY!! Potty training has to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I finally just let CJ go in the morning and before a bath to try to get him in the habit, I have him in a pull up too to get him used to pulling up and down his pants, plus that is less stressful for me. I had "had it" and was sick of cleaning up poop and pee. I am still relying on the fact that every parent has told me one day it clicks, can't wait for that day!
Oh man, I am ZERO help! My son has only gone pee one flippin' time on the potty and that's it. He is bigtime ANTI when it comes to potty training. So I gave up and will try again later. Why aren't they just born potty trained is my question!!!
