NEW BLOGGING BUDDIE!

I wanted to send a shout out to a new friend that some of you might know. She use to be Lindsay Park in High school and is now Lindsay Grantham. I have known Lindsay for a very long time since 10th or 11th grade I believe and since high school have not been so well at keeping in touch with her. But in touch enough to get her to blog so WELCOME LINDSAY, (actually my second blogger recruit, the first was Katie Gwilliam Forsberg. I'm a bad friend I never gave her a welcome, (SORRY) I 'll make it up to her.) Anyway, friends are welcome to both sites, you will find them under my friends, so go make your blogger welcome.

Mr. Independent

So the point of this post is the outfit that Frankie is wearing in the above picture. I am sure you all notice how well it matches. I have been dealing with him wanting to pick out his own clothes the last few days and he wants to wear what he wants to wear if not it is a huge tantrum. Sounds like something a girl would do. So for the last few days he has worn a spider-man shirt, he has four, however two of them are pajama tops and he still wears them as eveyday clothing. Although my mom brought him a new one on Friday and he wore it that night and Saturday. Come Sunday morning he wanted the same one again. Who cares if it has a dirt and food all over it. I finally made him understand that dirty things have to be washed. Now everything is dirty to him. So after that drama he found another spider-man shirt. I tried to put his blue shorts on with it but he wasn't having it, the pajama pants with dino's and monster trucks are way better. I let him wear it all day. To Home Depot and all. Is that bad? I kinda felt silly but then I figured, who cares. Today he is wearing pajamas again but this time they're not spider-man they're motorcross racing, but it is long pants and long sleeves. HOT! Any suggestions on how to get him back to letting me be the one to pick out his clothes or should I just let him be his independent self?

HELP!

I am not sure what happened to everything that use to be on the side of my blog page ie: picture, friends, website links, about me. It all of a sudden wasn't there the other day and I have totally messed around with everything in the settings and template but nothing helps. So if any of you have an idea as to what I can do to fix it please let me know.

NEAR DISASTER!

So tonight I had a near disaster experience. Let me humor some of you by telling my story. My Husband basically has his pride and joy as you see above, his Yamaha Rhino. Well we were borrowing it to some of our friends this weekend and it was in our garage dirty, which is a very rare occassion because my husband never leaves his toys dirty, but that is besides the point. He called me and asked me to go and wash it off in the driveway so it wasn't so dirty when they picked it up. I was bored so I agreed to wash it. Frankie gets so excited to go on the rhino so when I started to back it our of the garage he wants a ride and we travel a few short blocks to my friends house to say hello and borrow a few potatoes. After returning to my driveway I smell something on FIRE! I leaned forward to see if it was coming from the engine and it was not then I get out and smell it so strong I decide to look underneath it and there I see a full on fire, not even kidding you. My mind is pretty much thinking this thing could seriously blow up cause the gas tank is not that far away from where the fire was. Frankie meanwhile is still in the front seat so I pull him out and shove him into the garage yelling to go in the house and he's saying "why mommy, that Rhino, give me the keys." I grabbed the hose and started spraying the fire and it did go out. I probably sprayed it for like ummm EVER cause I was scared maybe it wasn't all the way out. So after it goes out I am looking under it to find the problem and my wonderful Husband had gone rabbit hunting and left what looked like the whole dang shrubbing bushes and weeds stuck in the bottom right by the pipe so therefore when it got hot it went up in flames. Luckily the only thing I ruined was the pipe. I say it's his fault and meanwhile I am just relieved that it's over. At least it gave me something to post about.

Family Reunion

We have been home for a couple of weeks from our Family Reunion up to the Hafen Ranch but we had a lot of fun and can't wait to do it again. Here are a few pictures.
