Memories- I have a million of them, how about you?

You have seen it everywhere lately but it's been fun so I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Doubling the Dogs

It appears I dislike animals with every thing in my body except my heart. It is obvious now that it is very soft to anyone or anything that needs a place to come for love and comfort. On Saturday morning I was doing my daily morning ritual at the computer when something jumped up in my window, I look over to see this red dog. I didn't much care until over the next 2 1/2 hours I kept looking out my window and he never left. I was leaving the house and the dog wouldn't even come out of the courtyard. I went about my day assuming the dog would be gone once I got home. 5 hours later I came home to the dog still by my front door. I felt so bad for her. She was so scared and hot I am sure cause I was dying and I don't have all that fur. Frank was right behind me so he calmed her enough to get close enough with a bucket of water and Frankie tells us she wants to play with the other dogs out back so here I go letting her through my house into the back yard and she was then the happiest dog ever. It was then that I decided we should keep her. HELLO I HATE DOGS, I SHOULD HAVE REMINDED MYSELF! Well on with our day and we named her curry. Later that same night we had our monthly group of friends over for the UFC fight and we found out that one is moving and he can't take his dog. Here's Frank: "What kind of dog?" Kyle: "a Mini Pinscher" Frank: "Bring him over!" Are you FA-REAKIN KIDDING ME? I HATE DOGS! So that was that and we have yet another dog. Yes the dogs are cute, and they need homes but mine is not a good one. Frank said he would get rid of Sliver (the chihuahua) but he went back on that almost instantly after the mini got left here. He did agree to find a new home for the red dog (curry) that adopted us so if anyone wants a dog please let me know. I hate to give them to the pound. Seriously who doubles their dogs in less than 24 hours? So as it ends and my house smells like dog it is apparent that if you have a stray dog or know one that needs a home we are the place to come.

Frankie does really like Rowdy, it has actually helped him with his fear of dogs. ( hmm I wonder where he gets that)

Panguitch Balloon Festival

Last weekend we headed up to my Grandma's for the annual Balloon Festival. I had never been before but plan on returning every year I can. The kids had a great time and loved playing with their cousins. Frankie was sure to tell us every time we were close "not to get him in there" I guess he thought maybe we were going to send him away. He was sure to stay close to a hand or be held the ENTIRE time. We also saw the Star Wars characters which I have never been a fan of but Frankie thinks one is "Dark Mater" and the other is a "bear or a monster", we now have to watch "Dark Mater" at home. HELP ME! It was fun to see Makaela and sad to have her go back to her Dad's but all in all it was a good time. If anyone ever feels like going to Panguitch or needs something to entertain them it is the perfect time to go. Plus they always have something going on.

Just thoughts...

This morning at around 5:30 am I was up to get chap stick and couldn't find any then sat at the computer to check out our ads on KSL (the spec home and our 5th wheel). While on the KSL home page I read the top stories like usual. Sometimes I just wonder where certain crazy people come from. Is it wrong for me to call them crazy? I also read about more fatalities in car accidents. Like one where 2 kids were killed, 7 and 8 and neither were wearing seat belts. I admit I have been a victim of not putting Frankie in a car seat before but I I crawled back in to bed and was so thankful to be able to squeeze him. (Yep he was in my bed) the smallest things can take them away in minutes and the smallest things can keep them too. I can't even fathom the thought of loosing a child, I am not to sure I am strong enough. So never again would I question the safety and importance of car seats and seat belts. (not that I questioned it before but for some reason it hit me today) Especially when the reason behind it is laziness and or uncomfort for yourself. Would it be worth it? No. I don't feel as though I have ever been much of a paranoid or cautious person but lately my mind has wandered a lot. I find myself thinking about loosing my husband a lot to death and I hate it. Why do people have these thoughts? It is mostly when I am driving back and forth with Makaela. Whether it is a song that makes me think of it or just random thoughts of a bored person driving on the freeway way to often. I also think about my family if they were to loose me. I would hate them to go through that. I also have been a little paranoid lately about someone coming into my house. I have an alarm, why don't I use it? Forget maybe and to lazy to get out of bed once I remember. I lay in bed hearing noises and don't turn on the alarm. How dumb is that? Besides all these fears of being scared and losing family, I have a feeling of sadness to. Having Brianna here for the last week was SO GREAT! I didn't even see her that much but it was almost the feeling of her being back here again. So when her and Nick left my house last night I went to bed really sad and woke up the same way. I had gotten use to it somewhat but for some reason moving to a different state and being pregnant makes it so much harder. So to sum up my thoughts.
To Brianna, Having you here the last week made me remember what it was like having my best friend here again. I know things are best for you in other places so I understand, but I miss you and I think it's not fair. Remember when you were suppose to move back here when Makaela was 9. Too bad that isn't going to happen. Anyway I just wanted you to know how much I loved having you around, it felt like the old days. I almost forgot you had to leave. I can't wait for your cute baby to come, I just hope he/she loves me the way Frankie loves you. Have fun in California I know we will still talk 4 times everyday and I can't wait for you to come back again. I love you and thank you for being the best friend ever!

Haircuts

Frankie loves his Mohawk but hates to have it done. Frank then came up with the idea of letting him cut his hair when he was done and it works rather well. I had to get a picture of the concentration on his face. it is just so cute. He should have taken it to his Dad's face too he has a hard time getting around to that these days. I did ask Frankie if he wanted to get rid of his mohawk and I could tell by the look on his face before he even answered with the tone of his voice "NO MOM" that I was completely crazy for considering it.

Rating...4 STARS

Since the first time I saw these on TV I wanted them. Now I know why. They are the Da Bomb! I got them 2 weeks ago today, my tomatoe is a little soft but still way useable. The cucumber is still totally hard and crisp, iceberg lettuce the same. The best part is the Strawberrys, completely hard, crisp and delish! Not one part of softness or mushiness. I am so impressed. I also put some spinach leaves in one and it had a few pieces that were yucky but 97% of it is still good. I think this is the greatest invention ever. I like vegetables really fresh and this keeps them that way. You better run out and buy them. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond but I saw them at walmart a few days later. $9.99 for like 20 reuseable bags totally worth it!
(I tried bananas too but for some reason when you put those suckers in a green bag they get eaten so much faster hmmm. I will get more this week and let you know.)
